On Sunday, we had a visit from the CEF Youth Challenge Choir. A great turnout of young people treated us to several pieces that led us in praise of a great God, and the congregation joined in singing some hymns. We had two testimonies from James and Naomi who gave us personal stories of the saving power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and told us of how God has led them recently in their walk with him.

The night was rounded of with the word of God brought to us by Colin Hylands who leads the choir. He brought us a timely word from Luke chapter 2 that pointed us to a God who cares passionately about spreading the message of his gift to the world of his Son, and a Saviour to all who would believe.

Supper was served – coffee and mince pies, firm favourites of the season!
